Maxillofacial tumor resection and reconstruction

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the surgical principles and reconstructive strategies used in the management of maxillofacial tumors. It focuses on oncologic safety, functional preservation, and aesthetic restoration across the craniofacial region. Participants will explore tumor resection planning, margin control, defect classification, and reconstruction using local, regional, and free-flap techniques, with attention to airway management, occlusion, speech, swallowing, and facial symmetry.
