ATLS for Oncology Surgeons

This course adapts the principles of Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) to the unique clinical challenges faced by oncology surgeons. It focuses on the rapid assessment, stabilization, and management of trauma and oncologic emergencies in cancer patients, including complications related to surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and tumor-related crises. Through case-based learning, practical algorithms, and scenario-driven simulations, participants will strengthen their ability to deliver timely, structured, and life-saving care in high-risk and emergency situations. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with a standardized, evidence-informed approach to acute care decision-making in oncology practice.
